Description: This webinar provides a “crash course” on flexible grouping, an evidence-based strategy for teaching that can help Nebraska schools and districts achieve the goals set forth in their Targeted Improvement Plans (TIPs).
This webinar will:
- Discuss how TIPs are part of a Multi-tiered System of Support (MTSS) Framework.
- Define flexible grouping as an evidence-based practice at the Tier 1 Core level.
- Explore the major elements of flexible grouping within the scope of content, design of instruction, delivery of instruction and practice for effective implementation.
- Identify explicit instruction examples for Tier 1 Core instruction at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
